Course description: Specifics of evaluation of the patient condition (determining the nees of the patients, physical aspects of the assessment of patients regarding specific disorders), care of patients in emergency situations (acute assessment, priority nursing diagnosis, objectives, intervention), the specifics of the preparation and application of therapeutic procedures, participation in the preparation and execution of diagnostic procedures, management of pain related to disorders (assessment of patients with pain; nursing diagnosis of pain), nursing care of patients with disorders of oxygenation and ventilation; nursing care of patients with tuberculosis, COPD, pneumonia, nursing care of patients with nephrology and gastrointestinal diseases, disorders of balance of fluids and electrolytes, nursing care of patients with liver cirrhosis and complications, nursing care of patients with cardiovascular diseases; nursing care of patients with deep venous thrombosis, nursing care of patients with disorders of the immune system, nursing care of patients with endocrine disorders (nursing care of patients with diabetes, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism and Cushing's syndrome), nursing care of patients with disorder of th exocrine function of the pancreas, nursing care of the patients with dysfunction of the hematopoietic and lymphatic system, the specifics of preparation and application of cytostatic therapy (chemotherapy side effects, complications); use of blood products; methods of patient isolation - reverse isolation, nursing care of patients with malignant diseases, palliative care, specific assessment of patients with infectious diseases, pre-exposure and post-exposure protection from infectious diseases, methods of isolation of patients, nursing care of patients with bacterial infectious diseases (intestinal infectious diseases, meningitis, tetanus), nursing care of patients with viral infectious diseases (meningitis, hepatitis A, B, C, D, HIV infection), nursing care of patients with parasitic diseases (amebiasis, trichinosis), nursing care of patients with neurological diseases (diseases of the brain circulation, neuromuscular diseases, epilepsy), nursing care of patients with disorders of consciousness, preparing patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (lumbar puncture, angiography, myelography EP, EEG), a multidisciplinary team and the specifics of care for neurological patients.
