Course description: Advances in medical science and the quality of health care in the past thirty years, and is closely related to advances in electronics, computing and information and communication technologies. New diagnostic and therapeutic extremely powerful tools and equipment, are expensive and complex to use. Selection and acquisition of expensive equipment have become the subject of a multidisciplinary, team-thinking doctors, nurses, economists. engineers and lawyers. Appropriate and full! (according to its technical capabilities) use the basis of the medical and economic efficiency needed in healthcare reform trends. Efficient use and planned maintenance are the only guarantee of investment. Biomedical engineering, ensuring safety and accountability in electromedical instruments and equipment, methods (models) and the problems of selecting, purchasing, installing and preparing for the operation, use and maintenance of electromedical equipment of high technological value in terms of profitability useful, forms of clinical engineering services, standardization as a basis for quality assurance equipment and services in health care, the models applied in the European community of modern information and communication technologies in support of health technology management.
