Course description: Students need to learn how to communicate successfully in the business environment and how to develop good business relationships.
Business communication can be defined as a separate discipline based on acquired knowledge in psychology, communication, management
and information technology, therefore it implies gaining the knowledge required for more successful interpersonal communication
in the business environment and effective formatting of messages in public and written communication as well as in presentation
information. Acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills from applied areas of business communication, including negotiating,
conducting meetings, interviewing, using modern technology in communication (eg electronic), conducting business presentations,
etc. Acquiring competencies for various types of communication activities in the health and business environment. Theoretical
basics of communication, communication process, forms of communication, communication functions. Preparing and maintaining
presentations, presentation structure, speaker and voice skills, presentations with PowerPointa. Communication in a business
organization, the flow of communication in the organization, the role of communication in the organization, the choice of
communication channels, types of business communications. Written business communications, the role of written business communications
in various business phases. Functions of business communications, business communication styles, business communication design.
Application of modern technologies in business communication, internet services, electronic exchange of information, risks
in electronic communication. Ethics in Business Communication. The object of business communication is to enable the participants
to master the basics of business communications, the concepts of business communication development, as well as the basic
theoretical knowledge necessary for successful business communication.
