Course description: The course covers two content units:
From the field of health behavior: Definitions and theories of health behavior, adherence
to health tips and instructions, psychological aspects of nutrition, smoking, physical activity and other health behaviors,
psychological techniques for changing risky health behaviors and encouraging behavioral change.
From the field of health
communication: Motivational interview, communication strategy for assessment and raising of literacy, the role of communication
protocols in quality management, barriers to communication skills in nurses, teaching methodology and evaluation of communicative
skills, communication with a demanding interlocutor or patient, therapeutic communication with a serious patient and family
members
