Course description: The aim of this course is to help students to complete this segment of academic writing as fast, fuller and more as possible. Learning outcomes refer to: direct and indirect citation, referral to sources and writing of bibliography, which are the basic knowledge and skills necessary for writing seminar papers during the course of study, as well as in the preparation of final papers in undergraduate and graduate level.
Course contents:
Science and scientific approach; types of expert and scientific papers, direct and indirect reference (citation); referral to sources; reference to bibliographic and other sources; writing a bibliography; basic styles - Vancouver, Harvard, Chicago, APA; citing books (bound publications); citing scientific and professional papers; citing chapters in the book, scientific and professional papers in collections and collections; citing scientific and professional articles in journals; quoting newspapers and interviews; citing laws, regulations and instructions; citing publications of international organizations and other reports; citing sources from the Internet and electronic media; citing vs. samocitiranje; the basics of scientific journalism, the basic concepts from bibliometry and altimetry; visibility and echo of works; scientific congeniality; plagiarism and forms of scientific misunderstanding in the segment of citing and referencing sources.
