| Course description: Political, legal and institutional framework of environmental monitoring in Croatia. The availability and quality of data.
Achieving the goals of Environmental Strategy and National Environmental Action Plan. Evaluation of the situation with regard
to the following categories: Space and Population, Energy, Industry, Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Transportation,
Chemicals. Evaluation of the situation with regard to certain aspects of the environment: air, climate change, water, sewerage
system ecological status of marine systems and biological water quality, pollution, chemical and physical soil degradation,
biodiversity, waste. It analyzes the implementation of environmental policies at the international level, regional and local
levels. Instruments and measures of environmental policy. Investment in environmental protection. State of the environment
RH analyzed in relation to the European state of the environment with regard to the 27 indicators from key groups, according
to the European Environment Agency (Core set of indicators) as reported by the Fourth Pan European environmental assessments
as part of the so-called. Belgrade reports 2007 National Register of environmental pollution.
