The Diploma Supplement (DS) is a European Union document attached to a higher education certificate/diploma based on a model developed on the initiative of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO.
The Diploma Supplement is designed to provide additional information about the content and the level of acquired qualification, i.e. about the knowledge and skills of the individual to which the document has been issued. It serves as a valuable instrument for future employers, improves the recognition of academic and professional qualifications and international transparency.
It may only be seen as an additional document, it does not in any way susbstitute the original certificate/diploma.
Upon finishing their undergraduate or graduate specialist study, all students of the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb receive a Diploma Supplement in Croatian and English language, automatically and free of charge.
