Nursing care as a complex interpersonal process involves the application of a number of communication, intellectual and psychomotor skills of nursing practice.
An integral part of nursing education is clinical practice – practical training in direct contact with patients under the supervision of the assistants of The University of Applied Health Studies. Clinical practice is held in hospitals, social welfare institutions and in the community. The goal of clinical practice is the adoption and independent application of nursing skills.

Clinical practice training, besides being part of all nursing care courses, is also included in three separate courses – Clinical practice in nursing care I, Clinical practice in nursing care II and Clinical practice in nursing care III.
